| ARTIST STATEMENT |

| Hidden Memories: My current series is a continuation of my Paintings of Spirit series. While exploring the universal symbolism used in ancient cave paintings, rock art and contemporary graffiti, I was also incorporating abstract figures representing courage, forgiveness and longing. Going through old photos, those same feelings came through to my art. |
